Spacious very comfortable room. Beautiful isolated location with super views. Warm and cosy with excellent heating for the very cold weather we had Best breakfast of all the hotels we stayed at in California.
Very limited choice of places to eat in area - thank goodness for The Chowder House and Tap Room on the doorstep - excellent food and beer!

Amazing location, amazing hotel, amazing staff just outright amazing. Have stayed at hotels all over the world from Ritz Carltons to backpackers hostels and I must say that this place outclassed them all. For pure tranquillity and luxury coupled with amazing view from private balcony this place delivered an amazing romantic weekend. No cell coverage or WiFi ensures uninterrupted peace and time for each other. Would recommend to any couple or family! Top class!

I really liked the staff who were very friendly and attentive. The room was really beautiful and I had my own balcony for air and a great view even though it was considered "obstructed". I will come back and stay there again sometime.
The parking was strange but adequate. It is situated on a hill and I'll take the parking that affords the great views.

The details. The room was lovely, decorated with antiques and elegant furniture. Electric fireplace, Jacuzzi tub (for 2!), beautiful ocean view from balcony. Lovely, a little off the beaten path, quiet night. It was fabulous for a Thankgiving weekend away from hosting. Oh yes, the movies to borrow from the main office were great too! :)
...a fuzzy bathrobe would be the icing on the cake! but it was fab nonetheless!

Perfect Spot for Couples
I stayed in a Beautiful Queen Room with Ocean View, and let me tell you, the view was just nice, watching those surfers while enjoying a glass of wine on the deck. And the jacuzzi tub? After a long day, it was pure bliss for relaxation and romance.
It's not the cheapest option out there but still reasonable for the experience.

Wharf master's inn is an amazing spot! The queen room with garden view was super cozy and clean. The hidden hiking trail behind the inn was fine and offered amazing views. Karen was cute! The gift shop had great spa supplies, like bath bombs.

The location shines with amazing ocean views and easy access to scenic hiking trails. The room featured a lovely balcony perfect for soaking in the sights. I enjoyed the cozy ambiance created by the decor and electric fireplace. The shower had excellent water pressure and was easy to adjust. Breakfast choices impressed me, especially the made-to-order waffles. Housekeeping was helpful and always pleasant. On the downside, I faced challenges with the confusing directions to find the inn. Parking was difficult, especially in the evening. The room's furnishings felt dated, and the carpet needed attention. Ultimately, these didn't overshadow the overall enjoyable experience I had at the Inn.

Bed was not real comfortable. It was lumpy and too soft.
